Privacy Policy
PocketSPAR is designed for local research workflows. Camera frames, imported images, profile files, search inputs, reconstructions, and session records are processed on the device.
Local processing
PocketSPAR uses the camera, photo library, local files, and installed domain profiles to run Core ML inference and Q* search on the device. The app does not create accounts, does not include advertising, and does not sell data.
User-controlled sharing and export
You can choose to save captures, export outputs, share a solution. Those actions are initiated by the user. PocketSPAR does not automatically upload camera frames, imported photos, search inputs, or saved sessions to any server.
Network requests
PocketSPAR can request the public profile catalog, settings information, and profile packages using an internet connection. These requests are used to show available profiles and download selected profile packages over HTTPS.
The profile catalog is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, R2, and Workers Analytics Engine. Catalog requests may be logged with operational fields such as request path, status, content type, response size, approximate request time, request IP address, network owner metadata, and a truncated user agent. The catalog does not store IP-derived location fields. These records are used for service operation, security, debugging, and aggregate usage measurement of the profile catalog.
Retention
On-device captures and sessions remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Catalog operational records are retained only as needed to operate and secure the profile catalog and to review aggregate service behavior.
